APerk Products is a Maine Company now producing a newly patented carving bar.

The APerk Finish Carver (rasping) will enable the carver to rest the weight of the saw on the carving, thus relieving the fatigue and enduring strength needed to keep the saw out of the work. The chain and bar do not enter the cut due to the patented application which also allows lateral (back and forth) movement of the bar, removing only the depth of the tooth of material each time it's moved.

The APerk Finish Carver will not replace your current carving bar, but will be a new addition to your carving toolbox.

The APerk Patent has turned the chainsaw into a rasping tool, as only the teeth you sharpen on the chain enter your work.  This bar will enable the carver to create a more detailed and uniform finish on their artwork, with less fear of damaging the sculpture, thus being able to do a little more with a lot less worry.

The APerk Finish Carver is machined from a solid piece of steel and case hardened.

 

The Finish Carving and the Concevity Bar now fits Stihl MS series.

Recommended chain: Stihl Picco Micro 14" chain, 50 gauge, 1/4" pitch, .050", can use a 3/8" pitch also
